The Home dashboard
Home answers two questions at a glance: are you on budget, and is it working? The budget card at the top works by month. Everything below it follows a period toggle you choose, apart from the Coming up list, which always looks two weeks ahead.
Home: the budget by month at the top, then how the chosen period performed.
- The Budget card works by month, from three months back to three ahead. The period toggle doesn't change it.
- The period toggle sets the dates for everything in Performance below it.
- The settings icon chooses which attribution sources get a tile.
The budget card
Section titled “The budget card”The Budget card shows creator spend by month against your monthly target, from three months back to three months ahead. Above the chart are three numbers:
- October committed (named for the current month): what’s published, booked and spent on usage rights this month, with a bar against your target and how much is left or over.
- Published so far: this month’s published spend, how many deals that is, and how much is booked to go.
- Next 3 months committed: what’s already committed for the coming three months, against their combined target.
Use Set targets (or Edit targets, once you have some) to set your monthly budget. The budget card isn’t affected by the period toggle, because budgets are monthly. For how each bar is counted, see Budget and targets.
Choose a period
Section titled “Choose a period”The Performance section has a toggle with four periods:
| Period | Covers |
|---|---|
| 7D (default) | The last 7 days, including today |
| 30D | The last 30 days |
| 90D | The last 90 days |
| MTD | The 1st of this month to today |
Creator Jam remembers your choice in this browser. The period drives the spend and ROI tiles, Top creators and Latest published.
The Performance section with 7D chosen.
- Creator spend, then one tile for each attribution source you show.
- Top creators ranks your best five, with a tab for each source plus Views.
- Latest published shows content that went live in the period.
- Coming up always looks 14 days ahead, whatever the period.
Spend and ROI tiles
Section titled “Spend and ROI tiles”The first tile is always Creator spend: the rates of deals at Published whose publish date falls in the period, with how many deals and creators that covers. Next to it is one tile for each attribution source you’ve chosen:
| Tile | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Fairing revenue | Revenue estimated from your post-purchase survey, and ROAS against creator spend |
| Affiliate revenue | Revenue from orders GoAffPro credited to an affiliate, the order count, and ROAS for affiliates linked to a creator |
| Code uses | All uses so far of the discount codes on deals published in the period, their revenue, and CPA (spend per use) |
ROAS is green at 2x or more, amber from 1x to 2x, and red below 1x. Each tile shows the same figure as the matching tab on the ROI page for the same dates.
If Fairing, GoAffPro or Shopify can’t be read, its tile shows the error instead of a number, so a failed read doesn’t look like $0.
Why the sources are never added together
Section titled “Why the sources are never added together”One sale can show up in more than one source. Say a shopper buys from Ridgeline Coffee with Sam Builds Stuff’s code SAM15. That order counts as a code use. If SAM15 is also Sam’s GoAffPro coupon, GoAffPro credits it to Sam too, and the shopper may name Sam in the survey as well. A single total would count that order two or three times, so Creator Jam shows the sources side by side and never adds them up. How attribution works explains each source in detail.
Top creators
Section titled “Top creators”Top creators ranks your five best creators for the period, with one tab per attribution source plus Views:
| Tab | Ranked by | Columns |
|---|---|---|
| Fairing | Estimated revenue | Spend, Revenue, ROAS |
| Affiliates | Affiliate revenue | Orders, Revenue, ROAS |
| Code uses | Number of uses | Uses, Revenue, CPA |
| Views | Views gained in the period | Videos, Views gained |
An affiliate who isn’t linked to one of your creators yet shows as “(not linked)”. The link under the list opens the full ROI report, or Content Analytics from the Views tab.
Latest published
Section titled “Latest published”Latest published shows up to six pieces of content published in the period, newest first, with the total count for the period. Click a card to open its details, or View all to go to Content.
Coming up
Section titled “Coming up”Coming up lists deals at Finalize contract or Content expected with a publish date in the next 14 days, soonest first, with the number of deals and their total rate. Click a deal to open its conversation. Deals at earlier stages aren’t listed even if they have a date, because they aren’t confirmed to go live yet.
Choose which attribution sources show
Section titled “Choose which attribution sources show”The attribution sources on Home are a team-wide setting.
-
Go to Settings → Integrations, or click the settings icon next to the period toggle on Home.
-
Find the Home Page card.
-
Tick the sources you want: Fairing, Affiliates and Code uses. You need at least one.
-
Click Save.
Only sources that are set up count. Fairing needs Fairing connected, Affiliates needs GoAffPro and Code uses needs Shopify. A source that isn’t set up is greyed out and marked Not set up. Until you save a choice, Home shows every source that’s set up. If a source you picked is disconnected later, Home skips it until you reconnect it.
If none of the three is set up, Home shows Creator spend on its own, with a link to connect a source.
