Campaigns and AI outreach
A campaign is a group of deals with its own outreach email template, such as a holiday gift push or a cold brew launch. When you’re ready to contact a creator, Creator Jam’s AI uses the campaign’s template and a screenshot of the creator’s channel to draft a personal email that you review and send from your own inbox.
Your campaigns
Section titled “Your campaigns”Campaigns appear as tabs across the top of Conversations → Campaigns. Click one to filter the board to its deals, or click All Campaigns to see everything.
Conversations → Campaigns with the Holiday Gift Guide campaign selected.
- The campaign tabs filter the board to one campaign. + at the end adds a new one.
- Click the campaign's name to rename it.
- Edit Outreach Template opens the email template the AI drafts from.
- The archive icon (Archive Campaign) archives the campaign after you confirm.
Every team starts with a default campaign called General. New retainers, and deals you add outside a campaign’s tab, go into it unless you choose another campaign. Its name can’t be changed.
Create and rename a campaign
Section titled “Create and rename a campaign”-
Click + at the end of the campaign tabs. Creator Jam adds a campaign called “New Campaign” and selects it.
-
Click the name in the campaign card below the tabs, type a new one, such as “Cold Brew Launch”, and press Enter. Press Escape to keep the old name.
To move a deal into another campaign, open the deal, change its Campaign and click Save Changes. You can also choose No campaign.
Archive a campaign
Section titled “Archive a campaign”Select the campaign, click the archive icon (Archive Campaign) on the right of the campaign card, and confirm with Archive. The campaign disappears from the tabs and from campaign pickers. Its deals stay where they are and still show under All Campaigns.
The confirmation that opens when you archive a campaign.
Write the outreach template
Section titled “Write the outreach template”Each campaign has one template: a subject line and a message body. The AI uses it as the model for every email it drafts in that campaign.
The Edit Outreach Template panel for the Holiday Gift Guide campaign, with a complete example email for the AI to work from.
-
Select the campaign’s tab and click Edit Outreach Template.
-
Enter a Subject and a Message Body. The AI needs both.
-
Click Save Template.
Write the template as a complete example email, with your offer, the brand story and your sign-off. Creator Jam doesn’t fill in merge fields itself. Instead, the AI rewrites the template for each creator, keeping its structure and personalizing the details.
Draft an email with AI
Section titled “Draft an email with AI”You need three things first: the campaign selected on the deal must have a template, the creator’s channel must have at least one email contact, and the deal needs a channel screenshot.
-
Open the deal and expand Outreach & Screenshot.
-
Under Channel Screenshot, click Upload a screenshot, or paste an image from your clipboard while the panel is open. Use a screenshot of the creator’s channel page that shows their recent video titles. It’s saved to the deal straight away.
-
Click Generate with AI. If you like, type extra instructions in the box that opens, such as “mention our new cold brew concentrate”. Then click Generate.
-
Read the draft in Subject and Message Body, and edit it as you like.
-
Click Save Changes to keep the draft with the deal.
The AI writes from the campaign template, the screenshot and your instructions. It’s told to follow the template, mention specific details it can see in the screenshot, such as recent video titles, and not to invent anything that isn’t there. It doesn’t see the deal’s rate, your notes or earlier emails, so check that the draft says what you want.
Refine a draft
Section titled “Refine a draft”Once there’s a draft, the button reads Edit with AI. Type what you want changed, such as “make it shorter and more casual”, and click Generate. The AI revises the current subject and body. It doesn’t look at the screenshot again.
Send the email
Section titled “Send the email”Creator Jam doesn’t send email or track replies. You send the email from your own email app.
-
Check the To address. It starts as the channel’s first contact. Click the swap icon next to To to choose another of the creator’s contacts.
-
To copy someone, click the icon next to CC and pick one of the creator’s contacts or a member of your team.
-
Click Open in Email Client. Your default email app opens a new message with the recipient, CC, subject and body filled in.
-
Send it from your email app.
-
If the deal is in Reach out, click Done on its card on Conversations → Campaigns to move it to Follow up.
If generation doesn’t work
Section titled “If generation doesn’t work”- The button is greyed out. The deal needs a campaign and a To address. Add an email contact to the creator’s channel if there isn’t one.
- “Channel screenshot is required for AI generation”. Upload a screenshot before you click Generate with AI.
- A message saying the template, subject or body is missing. Open the campaign’s Edit Outreach Template and fill in both fields.
- “AI drafting is busy right now”. Wait a moment and click Generate again.
- “AI drafting isn’t available right now” or “The AI couldn’t draft this email”. The AI service is having a problem on Creator Jam’s side, not with your deal. Try again later, or write the email yourself and use Open in Email Client as usual.
