The Content page

Content in the sidebar shows every piece of content your team has added, as a grid of cards. Use it to see what’s live, compare what each video cost per view, and spot which ones are still gaining views. To add something, click + Add Feature. See Adding content.

The Content page shows everything your team has added, newest first.

  1. The type tabs show one feature type at a time, with a count for each. All shows everything.
  2. Search channels... shows one creator's content. Beside it, filter by platform, publish date and views.
  3. Sort changes the order. Newest is the default.
  4. + Add Feature adds a video or post.
  5. Click a card to open its details and Performance panel.

Each card shows:

  • the thumbnail, with total views in the bottom-left corner and the feature type in the bottom-right. Hover over the views to see the date of that count.
  • the title, the creator, and how long ago it was published.
  • a stats row with the CPM, the engagement rate (“eng”), and a green chip with the views gained in the last 7 days.

Two cards: a YouTube video with every number, and a podcast episode with no counts yet, so it has no views and no stats row.

The stats row appears once the content has at least one of those numbers, and leaves out any it doesn’t have. In the Performance panel, a dash (—) means a number isn’t available.

Metric Where you see it What it tells you How it’s worked out
Views The thumbnail, and the Performance panel Total views to date The latest count: from the daily YouTube check, a ↻ Refresh, or the latest count someone entered
CPM The stats row, and the Performance panel What you paid per 1,000 views This content’s spend ÷ views × 1,000
Engagement rate The stats row (“eng”) How strongly the audience reacted, whatever the channel’s size (Likes + comments) ÷ views. YouTube only
7-day gain The green chip How many views it picked up in the last week The latest count minus the count 7 days before it
Views per day The Gaining fastest (views/day) sort How fast it’s growing right now Views gained between the two most recent counts ÷ the days between them

CPM uses this content’s share of the deal

Section titled “CPM uses this content’s share of the deal”

Spend lives on the deal, not on the video. When a deal covers one video, that video carries the whole rate. A $2,500 integration with 200,000 views has a CPM of $12.50. When a deal covers several pieces of content, each carries its share of the rate: an even split by default, or the split you set on the conversation. See One deal, several videos.

Content with no deal, or a deal with a $0 rate, has no CPM.

Engagement needs likes and comments, which Creator Jam only reads from YouTube. Content with counts you enter carries views only, so its engagement is blank, not 0%.

Counts don’t always land exactly 7 days apart. When none does, Creator Jam estimates the count at the 7-day mark from the counts on either side of it. Content with less than a week of history shows its gain since its first count. The chip appears only when the gain is above zero.

The 7-day window ends at the latest count, not at today. For content whose counts you enter, the chip describes the week before your latest entry.

The tabs across the top filter by type: All, plus each feature type you’ve used, with a count for each.

Above the grid:

  • Search channels… finds a creator by name, platform or category, and shows only their content. It doesn’t search video titles.
  • The platform filter (All platforms, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Podcast, Blog, Other) goes by the creator’s channel, not the link. A reel from a creator filed as YouTube shows under YouTube.
  • The publish date filter offers Any time, Past 7 days, Past 30 days, Past 90 days and Past year.
  • The views filter offers Any views, 10K+ views, 100K+ views and 1M+ views. Content with no count yet is hidden when you pick a minimum.
  • Clear filters resets the channel, platform, date and views filters. It leaves the type tab and the sort as they are.

Sort offers Newest (the default, by publish date), Most views, Gaining fastest (7d), Gaining fastest (views/day), Lowest CPM and Highest engagement. Content without the number you’re sorting by always goes to the end.

The grid shows 60 pieces of content at a time. Click Show more under the last card, which also says how many are left, for the next 60. Changing a tab, filter or the sort starts again from the top. On a phone, the filters sit in a row you can swipe sideways.

Click a card to open its details. The left side shows the video (YouTube videos play in place) or a link preview, plus the fields you can edit. The right side is the Performance panel.

The details of Sam Builds Stuff's video, open over the Content page: the video and its fields on the left, the Performance panel on the right.

  1. Change any field, then click Save Changes. Delete is at the bottom left, beside Cancel.
  2. ↻ Refresh fetches the latest numbers from YouTube now. T+2d in the corner counts the days since the publish date.
  3. Views, likes, comments and CPM, with the date they were read, and the trend line underneath.
  4. Spend is this content’s spend. Direct shows the deal’s discount code, its uses and the revenue from it.

For a YouTube video, the Performance panel shows:

  • views, likes, comments and CPM, with the date they were read (“as of”).
  • a small trend line of the last 30 days of views. Hover over it to see each day’s count. If tracking started within the last two weeks, you’ll also see “tracking since” and the date.
  • ↻ Refresh, which fetches the latest numbers from YouTube now. After a refresh, the button rests for 30 seconds.
  • a day count in the corner, such as T+12d, which is the number of days since the publish date.

For everything else, the panel shows the latest count, the CPM and the list of counts entered so far. See How views are tracked.

At the bottom of the panel:

  • Spend is this content’s spend. If the deal is split, a line underneath shows the share, for example “50% of a $5,000 deal split across its features”.
  • If the deal has a discount code, a Direct line shows the code (for example SAM15), its uses and the revenue from it. On a split deal, this covers the whole deal. See Discount codes.

A card with no views number and no stats row has no counts yet. Until it does, it sorts last and is hidden by the views filter.

  • YouTube videos get their first numbers at the next daily check. To get them now, open the card and click ↻ Refresh. Until then, the panel says “No stats captured yet”.
  • Everything else has no numbers until someone enters a count. The panel shows an empty form to add the first one.
