Signing in and your team
You sign in to Creator Jam with your Google account. Everything you add belongs to your team, the shared workspace for your brand, so teammates see and work on the same creators and deals.
Section titled “Sign in”The sign-in page. Sign in with Google is the only way in.
-
Go to app.creatorjam.co.
-
Click Sign in with Google and choose your Google account.
-
Creator Jam opens on Home.
Google is the only way to sign in. There’s no Creator Jam password to set, forget or reset. If you lose access to the Google account, you lose access to Creator Jam, so sign in with an account your company controls.
If you open a link to a Creator Jam page while you’re signed out, Creator Jam asks you to sign in and then takes you to the page you opened.
Create your team
Section titled “Create your team”The first person from your brand creates the team. Everyone else joins it by invite.
Before you have a team, Team Information asks for its name and shows Create Team.
-
Click Settings at the bottom of the left sidebar, then Profile & Team.
-
Under Team Information, type your team’s name, such as “Ridgeline Coffee”, and click Create Team.
Your new team comes with a default campaign called “General”, so you can start adding deals straight away.
Invite a teammate
Section titled “Invite a teammate”Anyone on the team can invite people.
Settings → Profile & Team: your profile, your team, its invite links and its members.
- Type your teammate's email under Team Management, then click Generate Invite Link. Creator Jam copies the link to your clipboard.
- Pending Invite Links lists open invites and when they expire. Copy a link again or Delete it. An expired invite shows Expired.
- Team Members lists everyone on your team, with the name and email from their Google account.
-
Go to Settings → Profile & Team.
-
Under Team Management, type your teammate’s email address, for example
jordan@ridgelinecoffee.com. -
Click Generate Invite Link. Creator Jam copies the link to your clipboard.
-
Send the link to your teammate yourself, by email or chat. Creator Jam doesn’t send it for you.
Each invite works only for the email address you typed, and it expires after 7 days. Your open invites are listed under Pending Invite Links, with their expiry date. From there you can Copy a link again, or Delete it so it can’t be used. An expired invite shows as Expired. Delete it and generate a new one.
Because the link only works for the invited email, forwarding it to someone else won’t let them in.
Accept an invite
Section titled “Accept an invite”The Team Invitation page shows who invited you and the team you're joining.
-
Open the invite link. If you’re signed out, click Sign in with Google and choose the Google account whose email address was invited. Creator Jam then brings you back to the invite.
-
On the Team Invitation page, check who invited you and the team’s name.
-
Click Accept Invitation. Creator Jam confirms you’ve been added and takes you to your profile page.
If the invite won’t accept, the message tells you why:
| Message | What to do |
|---|---|
| This invite was issued to a different email address | Sign out, open the invite link again, and sign in with the Google account for the invited email. Or ask for a new invite to the email you use. |
| This invite has expired | Ask your teammate to generate a new link. |
| This invite is no longer valid | The link was already used or deleted. Ask for a new one. |
| User is already a member of a team | You already belong to a team, and you can only be in one. |
What your team shares
Section titled “What your team shares”Everyone on a team sees and can change the same data:
- channels, conversations, content and campaigns
- retainers, ad usage licenses and budget targets
- custom fields and their values
- integrations, such as the connected Shopify store and the Fairing and GoAffPro keys
Your team’s members are listed under Team Members on Settings → Profile & Team, with their names and emails from Google.
A few preferences belong to you and your browser only: the dark theme, demo mode, and the period you last picked on Home. See Finding your way around.
Roles and permissions
Section titled “Roles and permissions”Everyone on a team has the same access. There are no admin, editor or read-only roles, so anyone can invite people, edit or delete records, and connect or disconnect integrations.
Creator Jam doesn’t have a way to remove a teammate, rename your team or leave a team from inside the app. To do any of these, email us using the link at the top of this page.
Your profile
Section titled “Your profile”Settings → Profile & Team shows your name and email under Profile Information. They come from your Google account, so change them in Google.
Sign out
Section titled “Sign out”Click Settings at the bottom of the left sidebar, then Sign Out. This signs you out on that browser and returns you to the sign-in page.
